The latter includes analysing land use and building quality to improve accessibility, enhance the streetscape and guide progressive and visionary site development. City Plan Services is also experienced in facilitating community involvement in the planning and development process. It posseses broad range of skills and experience in statutory and strategic planning, master planning, urban design and project management.

Forster Tuncurry Urban Design and Density Review
Great Lakes Council engaged City Plan Urban Design to address the pressure for growth in the twin towns of Forster Tuncurry on the NSW north coast. A review of high and medium density development in Forster Tuncurry was undertaken to formulate comprehensive land use, architectural and urban design guidelines and build upon the character and quality of the town.

Ashbury Residential DCP Review
Ashbury is a historic suburb located south-west of Sydney CBD. City Plan Urban Design, in collaboration with City Plan Heritage, undertook a review study of Ashbury to determine the strengths of its heritage qualities and the most efficient manner of controls to achieve development scenarios that allowed change whilst retaining the essential early 20th century character of the area.

Lane Cove Village Structure Plan
City Plan Urban Design was engaged by Lane Cove Council in association with Lane Cove Alive, to set out a long term vision for Lane Cove Village. Lihir Island New Town Structure Plan
Lihir (aka Niolam) Island is the largest island in the Lihir Group, in the northern part of New Ireland Province of Papua New Guinea. City Plan Urban Design and PTI Architecture were engaged to create a Structure Plan for a new township on Lihir Island which facilitates contact between locals, immigrants and tourists. The Structure Plan sets out to tackle the issues of environmental, social and economical sustainability of future development of the town.
